Somewhere in Colorado - Day 3

Ouray, Colorado

Now this is a small mountain town. I really enjoyed this area or Little Switzerland in America. The town is situated between towering mountain range. There are waterfalls, canyons, box canyons, ghost towns and the million dollar highway that are in the area to explore. We started the day with hiking around “The Box Canyon” Park. This place is beautiful and has waterfall and a path that winds the box canyon walls.

There is also a bridge at the top where you can look down into the canyon. Highly recommend checking this place out and hiking the perimeter trail.

After the box canyon we drove up the Million Dollar Highway. This road is as wide as two cars and has straight edges down the hill with no guardrails. So if you’re a nervous driver, don’t go on this road. We continued on the road to go checked out an old silver mine town, Ironton, Colorado. This ghost town still has many old building standing and is very impressive. After that we headed back to our hotel to rest up and get something to eat. Beautiful day..
